between Tyranids and the Imperial guard (Astra Militarum) who are
desperately trying to hold off the Tyranid invasion while the civilian
population tries to evacuate the doomed city. This Sunday will also be the
official start of the campaign, so players who have signed up or sign up at the

<span style="font-family: Calibri;">Two reviews in a row, this is madness! Or maybe just
convenient timing. This time I will be reviewing the Pro Series 7S set of
brushes from Games and Gears, for those of you unfamiliar with this company
they are the same people behind the recent and highly successful studio ichiban
line of brushes that launched on kick starter a few months back. I’ll provide a
link at the end of the article so you can check out their full range of
products if you’re interested (they make other stuff as well) Please keep in
mind I have only had these brushes for a week, so I am writing the article on a
daily basis and recording my impressions as I go along to try to provide a more
accurate review.<o:p></o:p></span></div>

<span style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: large;"><strong>Unboxing:</strong></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 8pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">This experience was not optimal, now this is not to say I
had any issues with the quality of the product, but when I opened the shipping
bag and unwrapped the bubble sheet that the brushes came in I noticed that a
number of the protective plastic tubes that cap the ends of the brushes had
been bent. Again I will state that this is not a reflection on G&G’s
product, I am well aware the horrors of shipping things and sometimes even the
most carefully packed items suffer battle damage in transit, but I did find it
a little surprising that they did not pack the brushes in a small box to
prevent this sort of thing from happening. As you can see below, the tubing bent
a little and forced the brush tip at an angle during its long trip across the
pond, my heart almost stopped when I saw this but after a little TLC I managed
to coax the bristles back into line, but there is still a little slant. After
the initial shock passed everything set up nicely, and assembling the stand
(yes you will need a screw driver) was a snap, and I didn’t find any cracks or
blemishes on any of the brushes, so no complaints there.</span></div>

<span style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: large;"><strong>Quality:</strong></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 8pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">The most obvious thing to note about these brushes is that they are sable air (read Chinese mink) awesome mustelidae hairs aside, there were some quirks. Right off the bat I had a kinked hair in one of the larger brushes, sadly I think this was related to the bending in the plastic tubing that occurred during shipping, after a rather tense moment with a pair of surgical shears the problem was resolved, I did not see any other brushes in the set with this defect thankfully, now back to the brush heads. As I mentioned above these are sable hair brushes, they performed exactly as one would expect a good sable brush to preform, I was able to consistently draw a nice fine point each time I loaded the brush and there is a good “snap" to the bristles and no foxing in any of the tips. <i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;">Time will be the real test here though and I am no slouch when it comes to brush maintenance, so I do plan on a follow up review after a few months of use. No complaints about quality at this point though</i></span></div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 8pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">The feel of these brushes in hand cannot be understated. That being said the weight and balance on the brushes (even the larger
ones) feels just right, they have a nice light core, probably cedar or maybe pine or another
non hardwood that provides a light center. The focus of the weight of each brush is split pretty
evenly at both ends and doesn't feel like either side is setting the other off
balance. The subtle bulge that runs through the middle
of each handle has been tooled evenly between each ferule and even on the
smallest brush the PSST1 it does not feel stunted or off center. However, if
there were one concern I had about the design it would have to be those dual
brush ends, I have to admit I have yet to try to do the dual blending
technique, or for that matter taken the plastic cap off of the other end for
fear of accidentally smacking, stabbing, fwapping or otherwise damaging the
opposite tip in some absent minded manner, this may not be a major concern for
everyone, my painting method tends to combine the best elements of flair
bartending and miniature painting, my brushes tend to find themselves partially
airborne now and then (or just get away from me after a long painting binge)
For now the back ends stay capped unless I am doing any blending work. For
normal people though I don’t see this being an issue so 10/10 on build quality
and feel.<o:p></o:p></span></div>

<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 8pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;"><span style="font-size: large;"><strong>Flow & Control:</strong></span></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 8pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;"><i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;"><o:p></o:p></i></span> <span style="font-family: Calibri;">Flow control is something I rarely see talked about in brush
reviews when it comes to miniature painting, which is a little odd, but hey, I
figure I might as well include it in mine. Ok so what is flow control, easy,
it’s the way a brush absorbs and distributes paint, some brushes are over
absorbent and some are less so or not very good at wicking paint at all. My
experience has been above average to excellent so far. The larger brushes (I
used the 3XL in this case) held a decent amount of paint per load and I found
myself going to the pallet a lot less than I do with my other generic brushes
of similar size. The smaller brushes were a little trickier, I had to clear and
thin a couple of times with the GW paints to keep them from getting over
saturated, the Vallejo’s were a little more forgiving though. Moral of the
story if you’re not already thinning down your paints you might want to hold off
investing in high end brushes. Over all they performed quite well, nice even
coats and keeping a nice fine tip in between clearing and loading, I actually
got a bit adventurous with the 3XL brush and tried some highlighting with my
Ork boy which you can see above, the results were pretty promising, almost no
run overs on the edges and it didn’t take much pressure to get the paint where
it needed to be in some of the tighter areas on the arms, this is in contrast
to using the GW or generic brushes that I have used that tend to have a rather
below average endurance when it comes to holding a point, I have also noticed
that the cheaper brushes tend to be a little to absorbent and you have to pay
more attention when loading and clearing them. This is not the case with
G&G’s pro series, the bristles are tightly bound and they wick at a nice
even rate and I never felt like I was fighting with the brush to get the paint
where it needed to go, easily a 10/10 experience. <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span></span></div>

<span style="font-family: Calibri;"><span style="font-size: large;"><strong>Cost:</strong></span></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 8pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">Wait that’s not on the list, but I know you probably want to
know how this stacks up to the Newton’s and Raphael’s on the market. The pro
series set that I got would set you back $85 USD (not counting shipping) You
get 16 brushes in the set (two for each brush) which breaks down to about $5.50
per brush which is about $2 cheaper than the cheapest GW brush if you are
talking msrp. How does that compare to the big dogs? Well your most basic set
of Windsor Newton’s will set you back roughly $100 for six brushes that would
offer you the same range as the G&G’s, that’s an average cost of $16 per
brush for one third the amount of brush’s, now the tradeoff here is that those
series 7’s are practically guaranteed to last you for life if you treat them
right, I can’t say yet weather that is true of G&G’s, but I don’t see why
these wouldn’t last me a good while with proper care. Bottom line you are getting plenty of bang for your buck with G&G.</span></div>

<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 8pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">What's good:</span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 8pt;">

<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 8pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">-Unique design.</span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 8pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">-Comes with awesome stand (seriously I love the sword rack style)</span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 8pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">The less good:</span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 8pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">-Not that portable out of the box</span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 8pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;"><em>I didn't touch on this in the article, but that dual end design and a slight tendency for the plastic caps to slip off some of the smaller brushes makes it a tad nerve wracking to put in my hobby kit, this set of brushes really begs for a nice custom clip in hard case to transport them safely.</em></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 8pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">-Shipping packaging.</span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 8pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;"><em>Not totally their fault, but worth noting.</em></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 8pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;"></span> </div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 8pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">My final impression after a week or so with these brushes is a positive one, I can see myself using these brushes well into the future and would recommend them to anyone who is looking to upgrade to Kolinsky on a budget, they have some minor but ultimately forgivable quirks, but over all they performed solidly. Over all score 9.5/10.</span></div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgD6bkNUj2nSdsMQGYJhnNgF7DDIXjGXl32Z4YLDfZ80HB9XCGPrDk2nG1fm0V6Sci-uLWlukVwOdWPEk2fPNbFHBkE-peRHEamBKYw3ReFgWx3Ub3rVzkvxIhKRcv7PRTBUOC79-ZqrJs/s1600/ahriman-exile.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgD6bkNUj2nSdsMQGYJhnNgF7DDIXjGXl32Z4YLDfZ80HB9XCGPrDk2nG1fm0V6Sci-uLWlukVwOdWPEk2fPNbFHBkE-peRHEamBKYw3ReFgWx3Ub3rVzkvxIhKRcv7PRTBUOC79-ZqrJs/s1600/ahriman-exile.jpg" height="400" width="260" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 8pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">As you may have gleaned from the title, this novel follows
the story of the Chaos sorcerer supreme Ahriman. The story setting takes place
in the 41<span style="font-size: x-small;">st</span> millennium and primarily focuses on Ahriman’s rise or
descent to power as a renegade sorcerer. The book itself is not super weighty,
its about<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>416 pages that are not densely
packed with text (it’s not a Dan Abnett tome to be sure) which makes it a fairly
easy book to pick up and read when you have a spare moment I actually stopped
and started reading it about three times over the course of two months, but the
story is written well enough that I didn’t find myself helplessly lost or
having to go back to certain parts to refresh myself. So in that way it makes a
great summer reader or travel/vacation book.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 8pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">The story itself is well written and is a good reflection on
the author John French who is a rather recent addition to BL’s stable. While I
have not read any of his other works, French does a great job of keeping the
reader interested in the plot, weaving long and detailed combat scenes with
subtle plots that feed into the main story and reveal more about who Ahriman
really is or was. Over all I felt more like I was reading someone's personal
Journal rather than watching a story unfold from some imaginary corner of the
room, French’s style of describing battle scenes is also quite refreshing,
there were multiple times where I would read a couple paragraphs that described
a fight that in reality only lasted a couple seconds, but the action flows very
well in these scenes and it never felt repetitive or gratuitous. There is also
a decent supporting cast of characters that provide a decent B story to help
the main plot move along, again not a lot of dense details, just a good light
background on the supporting cast to help break up some of the longer bits. <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 8pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">The over all narrative of the story is mostly focused on the
power of choice, and you definitely see the results of the ones that each
character makes as the book progresses, again this is an area that French does
a fantastic job in. Over all it felt like I was reading several mini-sodes out
of the larger story, I don’t want to get to into the plot but I will say that
there is the usual amount of grimdark splashed over everything, but it doesn't
feel as overbearing as it does in some of the other BL series. I would say even
if your not a fan of Chaos this book is still a solid read, on the other side
of the coin if your really into thousand sons this is almost a required read.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 8pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">I feel I am starting to ramble on a bit so I'll wrap it up.
This book basically follows Ahriman around the universe whilst he solves groovy
mysteries with his gang of scrappy renegades and outcasts as they track down
the mysterious source of the hunters that have been sent to kill him, things
get dicey when Ahriman realizes the truth has been with him all along and has
to go on a journey of rediscovery and personal development that will
allow him the face down the demons that pursue him and unlock his true
potential. The story was good but it definitely feels like its meant to be part
of a series rather than a standalone novel, but its pretty easy to get into the
plot and it’s a fairly quick read for anyone who enjoys BL novels. So if you
like Thousand suns, or you just want to learn a bit more about Ahriman I can
definitely recommend this book, same goes if your looking for a quick 40k fluff
fix in your down time.<o:p></o:p></span></div>

Episode 17 of "The Stuff of Legends" is out now on iTunes and direct download. This week Chuck, Ian and I talk about our first impressions on 7th edition and the psychic phase and the upcoming Valedor campaign at the shop. There's also a bit of hobby progress and the boys dish a bit on the new Orkanought kit coming out this week. You can grab the episode off iTunes, or direct download from the links below.<br />

To be honest I have not been diving head first into the rules and I have yet to get a game in, I have been letting the internet handle picking out the minutiae rules wise and use the time I save doing that by reading up on the fluff and painting. That being said its been a busy week, both hobby wise and at work, so I don't really have much to offer in the way of an in death look at 7th other than the book set is quite well done and doesn't feel flimsy and I love the fact that I only have to carry two books in my bag now (rules, codex) There's a lot of crunch in this new edition, so I don't expect to be seeing any substantial reports for at least a month or two when everyone has had time to really play it out.<br />
<br />
Hobby stuff:<br />
Like I said, this week was a busy week for me hobby wise and a slightly expensive on, s you can see below I decided to round out my armor and throw an extra Baneblade into my collection (I have two now plus a shadow sword) being a guard player you can never have enough tanks, this was especially true when I played an apocalypse game with Chuck (also pictured below) and fellow commander Bill (not pictured) That game made me realize two things, one; I didn't have all my armor painted to match my over all theme and two; I needed more tanks on the table. So I went over to Legends and picked up the Hammer.<br />

<br />
Last Wednesday was also the first official Warhammer Wednesday over at Legends, which I initially thought I would have to head up myself to drum up some interest but as it turned out I didn't have to do much, by the time I showed up, there were already several people getting ready to play, unfortunately one group didn't get their rule book order in in time to get a copy before they all sold out, but two fine gents Rick and Mike stopped by to get an unbound game they both looked like they were enjoying the new rule set and getting a chance to play unbound.<br />

Unfortunately I didn't get to spend much time next door, but we had some 40k action going on in the overflow space as well, next time I will try to have some more tables set up in the main store for Warhammer Wednesday (which will be on the 11th) Feel free to come and play anytime, the table in the main shop is usually open and if need be the overflow/table top room can be opened if there is a large group that wants to play.<br />
<br />
Ok confession time, this article was supposed to come out/be written last Thursday, that obviously didn't happen, but it did give me a chance to finish up assembling and priming most of the Russ's and the bane blade I have been stripping, sniping and assembling and priming since Wednesday night, the end result was totally worth it though, I am also going to try to batch these guys with my airbrush and give my new spray booth a whirl sometime next week.<br />

This one is a little late, but it's been a crazy busy/ productive last couple of days for me so I don't feel to broken up about it. Last Thursday found me in the good company of my cohorts Chuck and Ian, we gathered yet again for a night of beer, wieners and 40k (or in Chucks case 30k) It was another fantastic evening of hobby and entertainment, a few snapshots of which I have included below. This time there should be significant less dramatic glare.<br />

Another great night spent hobbying with friends, a big thanks to Ian for hosting yet again, as always it was a fun experience. Lately these hobby nights have been getting pretty regular, so this week I am having chuck over to play a nice 1250 game, I'll do my best to get some good pics up of that since its going to be my last true game of 6th (not counting Apoc next Sunday)<br />

<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 8pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">Last Sunday was mother’s day, it was an understandably slow
day for gaming, but we had a few of the usual suspects show up and we kicked
off the first weekend of the bitz bazaar (we finally moved the pile off of Ian’s
bed) Unfortunately my camera bag has been temporarily lost in the warp (Ian’s
trunk) so this week’s escalation league pics will be a little light I did
however manage to grab a few quick pics of my first game of X-wing.<o:p></o:p></span></div>

<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 8pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">So on the last episode of TSoL I mentioned that I wanted to
try X-wing (made by Fantasy Flight) and Bill, one of our long time regulars
showed up with a massive set of toys and took the time to teach me how to play.

</div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 8pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">This won’t be a super long review, just my experience with
one game, and I should probably clarify I am not the biggest Star Wars fan.
That being said it was a fun game and I could see myself playing again,
everything about the game system is fairly straight forward, and they do a good
job of making all of the visual mechanics of the system fairly accessible and
very well laid out. What really got me was the movement system, getting to make
your movement choice in secret and running the risk of over shooting your
target, or flying straight into them and having to make a quick maneuver the
following turn to get out of the action, or turnabout and try and gun down your
opponents ship adds a certain level of depth to the game and helps make it feel
like you are actually maneuvering through a dogfight, rather than just playing
with static models on a 2d game board.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 8pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">As I said before, I am not the biggest Star Wars fan, but
this is a game I could see myself picking up in the near future (the starter
sets only $40) It plays relatively quick and I can see why the system is catching
on at a lot of stores and conventions and this may be a bit of wishful
thinking, but I really wish FF would give Battle Fleet Gothic this treatment,
the mechanics are somewhat similar and if you scale up slightly it could be an
amazing re-launch of a great classic 40k game. That aside though, if you like
dogfights in space, or you like quick tabletop games that can be played on a
4x4 over a lunch break then check out x-wing, it’s not crazy expensive, it may
not be 40k, but it is pretty fun. </span></div>

<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 8pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">Thursday night found me in the company of long time co
conspirators Ian and Chuck, there was sausage (not pictured but delicious)
there was beer (pictured and also delicious) and there were bitz (pictured and
apparently delicious as well according to Ian) Below are some quick shots from
last nights hobby jam, sorry about the lighting but I require being back lit at
all times to accentuate my glowing visage, if you don’t buy that, it was a bit
dark in Ian’s office so we grabbed every table lamp in the house.</span></div>
This Sunday Legends will be holding a bitz bazaar, come and trade your bits, build something fun out of your own bits box and show off your kit bashing skills. The bazaar opens at 11am but will probably run until close. You can get more info on <a href="http://www.legendscomicsandgames.com/" target="_blank">Legends here.</a><br />

away for like five minutes and when I looked back he had banged out this
awesome objective marker/diorama from his bed of bitz (which is now a table of
bitz) Chuck and I also gave a quick tutorial on bounce lighting and focus, and
I learned that there is indeed a minimum requirement hardware wise for taking
cellphone pics. Ian’s phone did not meet this requirement, and I was subsequently
humbled by my previous claims of skill using any device, in the end we just
used mine, but I learned Ian was gifted a Nokia 800 some time back, so he
should be seeing a marked increase in his photo quality shortly.<o:p></o:p></span></div>

<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 8pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;"></span> </div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 8pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">Everyone seems to have their own two cents to put in on the
latest edition of the 40k rule set and with the confirmation of one aspect of
it I decided it was safe enough to take a stab at providing some perspective on
the matter.</span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 8pt;">
</div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 8pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">To be clear, this is not a rant nor is it a speculative
piece I am simply providing some observations based on what we know (which is
still very little) about the new ‘unbound’ lists option. There has been a lot
of talk about percentages and side boards, but nothing has actually surfaced to
confirm either of those rumors, so I will only focus on unbound for the moment.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 8pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">Apocalypse now?<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 8pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">Yes and at less than 2000 points, on demand whenever you
please. The initial heming and hawing about the prospect of your opponent being
able to field impossibly brutal lists was tempered by the fact that not
everyone is going to play unbound all day every day. Much like apocalypse, this
is just another aspect of the game that could allow for a greater range of
freedom when making a list, I have been using this example a lot lately but as
you may be aware I am the owner of a 26 sentinel strong army that has no
practical or competitive purpose other than to feed my varied and eccentric
tastes in this hobby. Previously there was no way in hell I could feasibly
squeeze more than six into a 1750 list, with 7<span style="font-size: x-small;">th</span> I could actually
field a decent and possibly balanced mobile infantry force (in theory anyways) I
have seen quite a bit of negativity towards this aspect of the new rule set,
but really this won’t change much day to day play, unbound is just another way
to work more models, or use the models you have in a game without having to
invest much or worry about making to perfect list. In that regard I think that
unbound also targets new and younger players who are not quite used to the math
hammer side of the game, or just want to play a game with “cool” models.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 8pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">Unbound also solved another mystery that I had been
pondering on regarding supplements. For awhile a lot of people were wondering
why there has been such a deluge of extra army books as of late, my theory is
that this all falls in line with GW’s plans for 7<span style="font-size: x-small;">th</span> and the new list
building structure. Want to take an allied force? Double down on your profits
by releasing two books under one codex, Demons and CSM or CRS, IG and MT + INQ
and so on. Again this is just me postulating on why this may have been
structured as it is, I know GW is a publicly traded company, but not every
aspect of the rules is geared towards sales so there’s still a fair amount of
grey area with my theory. <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 8pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">Is this going to be a WAAC paradise, I don’t think so.
Echoing what a lot of the older community has been trying to drive home for the
last 20 years, it’s about talking to the guy/gal across the table and deciding
what and how you are going to play, I have walked away from plenty of games
because they just didn’t sound like fun and I don’t see why this would be an
issue everywhere else. At tournaments, at least for the first year anyways I
can see this as being doubly true, it sounds like GW has also introduced a
check and balance system to even things out, but with no further details I
really don’t care to delve too much into that area. </span></div>
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 8pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">All in all I think its shapeing up to be a fun edition,
hopefully GW got over their Vista moment with 6<span style="font-size: x-small;">th</span> (sorry it was fun
but there were issues) and are back on track with 7<span style="font-size: x-small;">th</span>, are people
going to complain, yes, are people going to leave, yes. That’s fine if you don’t
enjoy the game anymore you certainly should find something else to play that
you do, but please don’t read a bunch of speculative articles on the internet
and declare that you’ll never play again before actually getting a few games
in, it makes us all look quite silly.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 8pt;">

<span style="font-family: Calibri;">This week has been quite the toasty one, despite my
workspace having an identical atmosphere to an easy bake oven I did manage to
get some hobby time in this week. As you can see by my highly advanced project
tracking system I finished all of D’s guard commissions for the month. With that out of the way I
have had more time to work on my sentinels I decided the best way to go on this
project was to break everything down into squads of three. Not counting basing
I have managed to clear six of them since Monday, after getting my jungle funge
layering system down its gotten a lot easier to crank these guys out, basing is

<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 8pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">Oh yeah, did I mention I finally broke down and bought some
soft blue foam, and if I didn’t upgrade my kit soon I would have keep running
with my old set up (battle damaged army sabol bag filled with packing peanuts,
old large GW figure case) add to that I have been doing hobby demos and taking
pictures for the Escalation league over at Legends, I basically looked like a Sherpa
every time I went to the shop. So I decided I try there auto fill app for my
guard stuff and picked up a single case with no bag. Let me start by saying
there are plenty of reviews for KR floating around out there that go into great
detail about their product, this will not be one of those, as a matter of fact
“just plain awesome” pretty much sums up my experience with KR so far,
everything about this product is plain and functional with little extra
ornamentation or frill and I mean that in the most positive manner. I have seen
other more expensive options that simply add nothing more than extra flair and
decide its worth double the price, KR on the other hand doesn’t bother with
overly specialized options, they make a simple highly modular product that is
designed to fit your needs and there has yet to be an issue with my purchase
that really stands out as a negative, I do kind of wish they had a tray that
was half troop half heavy weapons squad ( as you can see above I found a work
around) but other than that everything seems well designed and optimized. You
can cram a lot into a single case and not just troops (though I hear you can
cram over 200 into a single hard case) I managed to get two troop choices
(about 60 pieces of infantry) plus armor and HQ’s into one case, and there was
no wiggle and no loose minis jangling around during transit. </span></div>

<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 8pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">For comparison here’s a few shots of the cores for my other
bags (SABOL and GW) GW’s foam comes closest, but it’s still a far cry from the
quality and softness of KR’s trays, GW’s trays are soft but much more dense and
springy, with a little give, KR by comparison is quite soft and malleable
almost plush to the touch with enough density to keep everything in place, but
also has enough give to make sure that piece that’s just a little too wide can
be made to fit without fear of damage. <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 8pt;">

<br />
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 8pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">Sabol sad to say represents the old school, pick n pluck was
the norm 7-8 years ago, but now feels quite dated (KR does offer pick n pluck
style trays, which do still have their uses) Compared with the more modern
purpose cut foam trays from companies like KR and Battlefoam this stuff just doesn’t
stack up. The foam itself has very little give and does not feel that far
removed from those little bits you used to get in the GW metal single packs.
Still though I use it for over flow and I will never get rid of my army carrier
bag (It has far too much character to throw out, and it doubles as a cooler) So
sadly I can no longer recommend them, or most of their product line, they do
still make a quality and consistant product, but there are better evenly
priced options out there now.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 8pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">That’s it, for now anyways, I plan to get another batch of
sentinels done up tonight and maybe another sniper or medic, but for the most
part that’s all my hobby progress for this week. Before I sign off though, a
quick shout out for the stuff of legends podcast. This Sunday we will be
recording episode 13, we’ll be going over escalation news, some of the 6.1ed
stuff that’s been bubbling up lately, and I review my first issue of WD
visions. You can check out all the previous episodes of TSoL <a href="https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/the-stuff-of-legends/id832274658?mt=2&ign-mpt=uo%3D4" target="_blank">here.<o:p></o:p></a></span></div>

<br />
I woke up Sunday morning and decided that I was going to start doing a video series on the basics of getting into 40k in a no nonsense format. The end result was me hastily zip tying a video rig together and trying to get movie maker to sync properly to my camera (it didn't) But I managed to get the above video out, I do plan to re do this once I have had more time to sort out the kinks in my presenter/recording seat up, so I apologize in advance for the quality. <br />
<br />
This video is meant more for newbie than long time hobbyists, so if you know what your doing there wont be any surprises in here.<br />
<br />
Feedback is greatly appreciated, as I mentioned I plan to do more of these in the future, so if you have any experience doing this sort of thing, or just have a few suggestions hit me up in the comments, or shoot me an email at <a href="mailto:bayhammer@gmail.com">bayhammer@gmail.com</a><br />

Cheers<br />

<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 8pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;"></span> </div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 8pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">When I was talking about the lore section on the show, I
found it difficult to articulate exactly what it was about this codex that felt
different from its predecessors. After I had a bit more leisure time to sit
down and really go through both books I think I have been able to formulate a
more accurate response to my original thoughts on the background and lore
section. The biggest difference between the new Astra Militarum codex and the
previous IG book is that the formers composition and tone seems to focus more
on the here and the now and the future of the universe, rather than weigh the
reader down with the details of the past. True, there are a fair number of articles in the new
book that are taken from the last codex (there’s entries in the 5<span style="font-size: x-small;">th</span>
dex that go all the way back to 3<span style="font-size: x-small;">rd</span>) but they compose and preface it
in such a manner that it tends to drive the narrative forward, rather than just
let the details hang in the middle surrounded by the inevitable grim dark
future of emptiness and death that awaits humanity. </span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 8pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">It feels like GW has
turned back the clock from two minutes to five, the 13<span style="font-size: x-small;">th</span>
black crusade is just now happening, and while the overall theme is still an
empire in decline, they have given themselves a little more wiggle room when it
comes to future editions, and the expanded universe, some aspects of which they
have subtly woven into this new edition. The first couple of pages reads like
the extended version of the back cover of a Black Library novel, there’s a much
heavier focus on narrative in this codex than in 5<span style="font-size: x-small;">th</span> and it shows,
in 5<span style="font-size: x-small;">th</span> it was more “yeah you command a lot of guys and tanks, so use
a lot of guys and tanks if you want, it’s cool” Whereas this time round they
have such gems as “Squads of desperate men battle impossible odds , with
nothing but faith and courage driving them to hold the line” and prefacing that
section with a paragraph that focuses heavily on the grandiose dehumanizing
scale on which the organization operates. They pulled the campaign map from this edition as well, effectively removing most of those events that were not noted elsewhere from the record, this was an odd move, while it did allude to battles of other non Cadian regiments, it did not really detract much from the main story, it did however show dates that went beyond the new timeline, so rather than re write it they just scrubbed it all together. The real shame in this is that new players will loose that quick and easy glance at the universe that most of us older players have grown accustomed to (I think it is still in the rule book though)</span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 8pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">Other than that though, the fluff area is pretty much a copy
paste affair from the last two books, with a few subtle entries removed, or re
shuffled out of the first twenty pages or so. Over all I think GW did a good
job with the codex, there could have been a bit more don to update the
background, and yet again I see the same art work that I have been seeing for
the last ten plus years (now in color!) I think in this edition you are getting
a lot less to build on, a few pictures, no camo scheme guides (in the print
edition anyways) and the same model photos we got from 5<span style="font-size: x-small;">th</span>. After
all that though, I can still say I was pleased with this edition and even
though it was very subtle I do like the new emphasis on narrative that the new
codices seem to be leaning towards, and now with the supplements that are
supposedly in the works, we might get to see some of the gaps in this codex
filled in later by future mini dex releases. I do hope that this is the case,
and GW will release some more flavor back into the army, but I’ll reserve my
thoughts on that matter until I get the product in hand, for more thorough
review before lambasting any perceived money grab by GW.<o:p></o:p></span></div>

Yet again I found myself painting D's imperial guard (117th, The Inheritors) So I did up a few special weapons teams, and another previously enjoyed lick. I have to say I really enjoyed working on some of the older independent characters/stand in models from this project, there's just something about the older mini's that's really fun to work with, even if they don't have rules anymore, a lot of these guys make great counts as models. Enough with words, time for the fancy stimulating imagery with our snazzy new logo.<br />

Straken was a blast to paint up (buns of steel that model has) I was also very pleased with how the Vostroyan officer (he was supposed to be Chenkov) turned out, I think the reds pair well with the basing. On the Cadian officer I used GW's skin technique for the first time, super simple and done in three layers. Finally, who doesn't lover Schaffer.</div>

forward before we get to the good stuff. Originally this article was meant to
be published as one long overview of the new Astra Militarum Codex (imperial
guard) I soon realized that I did not have the time to sit and pour over every
detail in one sitting, and as stated below, this is not a codex review. This is
more of a collection of my personal observations and musings on the new book,
which I will put out as a series of articles focusing on the individual parts
of the book that I was not able (read not fully prepped) to go over on the
podcast. Part one is about the units that were removed in this release.</em></span><b><span style="color: #262626; font-size: 24pt; line-height: 115%; mso-ascii-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-font-size: 11.0pt; mso-fareast-font-family: Calibri; mso-hansi-font-family: Calibri; mso-themecolor: text1; mso-themetint: 217;"><o:p></o:p></span></b></span></div>

article is the follow up to my last appearance on the Stuff of Legends podcast
where we went over the new Astra Militarum and Tempestus books. Unfortunately,
we did not get to cover everything we wanted to due to the time constraints, so
I wanted to do an extended version to cover some of the items we skipped during
the show. </span><o:p></o:p></span></div>

going to be an in depth codex overview, there are plenty of other people
covering that, and honestly I am not really that much into the meta aspect of
the game, rather this article will focus mostly on a few key details about some
of the unit changes/removals and changes to the background fluff. This is all
basic stuff with my own personal spin on a few areas of interest.</span><o:p></o:p></span></div>

<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">A quick breakdown for why I believe some of these characters
are absent from the latest iteration of the codex starting from the top.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">Sly Marbo:<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">This one actually seems kinda obvious, first off he was a
pretty OP character, now that’s not to Say that there are not plenty of those
still hanging about in other books (elder cough cough) but he was less a man
and more of a strength 8 blast with unlimited range. But I don’t think that’s
the reason he got pulled. The word of the day in 6<span style="font-size: x-small;">th</span> edition is
‘supplement’ as in there is a good chance Marbo will be returning to us in one
of them. It has long been rumored that Catachans will be getting their own
book/data sheet after the release of the main guard codex and I still believe
this to be the case, so keep an eye out in the near future as I am sure he will
be popping back up at some point.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Calibri;"></span><br />
<span style="font-family: Calibri;"><em>Side note: His model is still available for purchase on the new GW site, so either selling off the remaining stock, or waiting for an update.</em></span></div>
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">
<o:p><span style="font-family: Calibri;"> </span></o:p></div>
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">
<o:p><span style="font-family: Calibri;"> </span></o:p></div>
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">Bastonne:<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">This guy never really saw a lot of play as an HQ in 5<span style="font-size: x-small;">th</span>
ed, sure he had some interesting fluff but for the most part he was just
another upgrade with a few special perks that were not really worth the points,
he also suffers from ‘lack of model” syndrome, so yeah poof!<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">Mogul Kamir:<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">Real shame about this one, I can’t say for sure why he’s
gone, I mean you could technically gussiy up any odd rough rider and call him
Kamir, and I will have to check, but I do believe he had a model at one point.
Rough riders are still in the main book so a supplement seems unlikely (maybe a
data sheet with expanded rules) as far as I can tell though he was just one of
those units that fell out of favor, I was actually surprised to see rough
riders at all in this edition, but they do still have that unique flavor about
them, and allow all kinds of fun kitbashes with bikes, so yeah, not sure where
he’s gotten off to.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">Chenkov:<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">I was really bummed he got the axe, though like Marbo I have
a sneaking suspicion he may be coming back in a future supplement and in a
plastic/finecast kit (he was metal and not called Chenkov on the site prior to
the great metal purge) With the new points drop on conscripts he would still be
a solid choice regardless of what faction you were playing, he was a tad
broken, and may have been even more so in 6<span style="font-size: x-small;">th</span>, but I also did not
see him on the table that often, so maybe he was shelved due to lack of demand.
While I’ll miss being able to flood the table with an endless tide of bodies,
its not much harder to accomplish the same task with regular conscripts in any
750+ game.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">
<span style="mso-ascii-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-fareast-font-family: Calibri; mso-hansi-font-family: Calibri;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;">Al'rahem:<o:p></o:p></span></span></div>
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">
<span style="mso-ascii-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-fareast-font-family: Calibri; mso-hansi-font-family: Calibri;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;">The legend
is gone, but the rules live on. Old model, old rules. The new order (order
here) essentially gives any unit a similar ability to his “like the wind” perk.
After handing off that ability to move troops around quickly to any random
command squad/HQ choice there was not much reason<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>to keep him in the main codex. Still though,
there’s hope for a supplement, or possibly a new sculpt/model (fingers crossed)<o:p></o:p></span></span></div>
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">
<span style="mso-ascii-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-fareast-font-family: Calibri; mso-hansi-font-family: Calibri;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;">Solar
Macharius:<o:p></o:p></span></span></div>
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">
<span style="mso-ascii-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-fareast-font-family: Calibri; mso-hansi-font-family: Calibri;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;">He was dead
and gone by 5<span style="font-size: x-small;">th</span>, so he only makes the list on a technicality but
still he got a whole page (no stats just a big piece of fluffly filler) He had
a model and rules prior to 5<span style="font-size: x-small;">th</span> though, but I am guessing he got the
rough customer treatment like all the other old fluffy HQs (sans Yarrick and
Strayken) Macharius seems like he would be the one least likely to see a
datasheet/re-release though just based on his recent exclusion from two
consecutive codex’s, who knows, maybe FW will step in on this one.<o:p></o:p></span></span></div>

thing I want to get out of the way before wrapping up, all these models are
still produced by Forgeworld, and still have current rules to support their use
and inclusion in regular 40k lists. Imperial Armor has been doing a good job of
filling the gaps left by GW’s clumsy economizing over the years. Overall not a
total loss as it is an expensive alternative. There’s a lot of FW friendly
rulings/gamebooks being put out by GW lately, so it would not be to hard to
keep your old models in regular play despite not having an entry in the main
book.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span><o:p></o:p></span></span></div>

thoughts on the old and the lost, it happens with every release/update, GW
phases out the older less popular specific characters and units in favor of whatever
the new hotness is that go round I think we’ll see some of these guys back on
the table in the not so distant future, and while a little disheartening to see
some old favorites disappear into the warp, there will always be new hero’s to
captivate the next generation of war gamers who are just coming into the hobby
and will never know the loss of squats, or look longingly at beastmen regiments
in back issues of white dwarf. This is the new school, and we are all now
custodians of the lore prior to this release, so remember to share some of that
wisdom with our newer players whenever possible, you just might be the one who
inspires the next Dave Taylor, or (insert famous mini painter here)</span></span></div>

Since about 6pm Friday night this has bee my life.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div align="center">
<span style="font-size: x-small;">1st rule of 40k club, buy a really big desk.</span></div>
<br />
Thank god for OneNote is all I have to say on that. For the last 24 hours I have been drinking deep from the content hose, and yet again GW has managed to cram as much information as possible into roughly eight pages of solid rules, there's been a lot of minor tweaking with the guard in this release and while there are a few 'new' units, I haven't really found any really serious standouts (I am sure there are internet people willing to tell me otherwise on standby) <br />
<br />
So far though this book is shaping up to be really solid, they did a few things to make it a little easier to keep all the rules with in reach and the over all layout shows a lot of the polish that GW has been adding with each 6th ed codex release. Rules wise I think the guard got a lot of buffs to some of the less often used units, but its still to early for me to say anything one way or the other about the book just now. If you want to really know what I think about the new codex you can download the upcoming episode of <a href="http://stuffoflegends.libsyn.com/" target="_blank"><span style="color: #3d85c6;">"The Stuff of Legends"</span></a> podcast which should be out next week. This will be my second appearance on the show and I am really looking forward to sitting down with Chuck and Ian again to really dig in to both Codex Militarum Tempestus and Astra Militarum.<br />
<br />
If your in the San Jose/Cupertino area feel free <a href="http://www.legendscomicsandgames.com/" target="_blank"><span style="background-color: #3d85c6;">to come by the shop</span></a>, my co-conspirators and I will be there all day hobbying and playing games (first weekend of 1k with flyers in the escalation league whoo!) so stop on by :) <br />

Over the last week or so there have been plenty of leaks though, this far in to a release, rumors and hearsay start to turn into facts, and we have had more than one WD/codex leak, so there wont be a ton of surprises in the stats department, but being the borderline fluffy bunny that I am, its the changes in the background/canon that interest me the most with every update. With some new units (read previous forgeworld units) and a big refresh on plastics (ogryns, commissar and storm troopers) I am quite curious to see if the clock is moving forward or back, like how they did with the CSM books. Lately it would seem that GW's over all plan is to erase 1996-2007 and put everyone back at exactly 10,000 years and 28 days after the heresy, also despite the Damocles campaign still happening, the whole 'let's purge the xenos menace' thing never happened with the space fish, and everyone is best bro's now.<br />
<br />
Bellyaching aside, I am always excited when its codex release time, and all though GW has been going with a quantitate approach to their release schedule, I have yet to see a codex/army re-release that was not of decent quality, the scions were slow to warm my heart, but after actually getting to see them in the plastic I have actually grown to like the kit a bit more (there is a quad of them now sitting prominently on my hobby stack) I am swinging by Legends tonight to pick up my copy of the new sets and maybe some other bits of kit I feel necessary to my existence, and this Sunday the guys over at The Stuff of Legends podcast will be going over both the Tempestus and Militarum books on the show<span style="color: #3d85c6;"> </span><a href="https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/the-stuff-of-legends/id832274658?mt=2" target="_blank"><span style="color: #3d85c6;">(check them out here)</span></a><br />

<br />
Just when I think I am out, they pull me back in, or rather D asked me to do a bit more work on his guard, so the sentinels are on the back burner for now. Last night I managed to do up a quick basilisk, again this was a second hand piece (didn't bother stopping it this time) from another players guard army (which I also painted) and I didn't bother to soak it since I figured to top layer was light enough to just prime over. The decision to experiment with the cracked earth basing paint did not pan out and I had to re prime/paint the bottom half of the side panels, a good lesson learned there, the GW technicals really helped me out this time around though I think that I am finding my balance with applying just the right amount of weathering to the metal bits, even if my free hand camo still needs a bit of work. <br />
<br />
Quick side note:<br />
You can also see the brand new 'Bay Hammer' logo, after several iterations and a few nights spent in Photoshop I have created a design I am finally happy with, t-shirts and bumper stickers to follow shortly.<br />

I am famous!, well internet famous, well not really, as I have only been on one episode of the show so far. That doesn't matter though, bring on the teacup Pomeranians and stretch limos!<br />
<br />
Getting back to reality, last Sunday I got the chance to sit down with Chuck, Ian and Tyler over at 'The Stuff of Legends' podcast, I'll include I link at the bottom of this post to the iTunes page (if you like the show let them know it with ratings/feedback) Chuck and Ian have put together a great show over such a short period, and while its still fairly new and most of the episodes run at just about an hour I can defiantly see the program growing in the not to distant future, especially with the way the war gaming group over at Legends keeps expanding these days. After the demise of the short lived Bay Hammer radio it really feels great to see someone else with a real passion for the hobby pick up the torch and keep the dream alive.<br />
<br />
You can check out the show on iTunes, if you don't feel like going through iTunes there is also a direct download link as well.<br />

<br />
Astra Militarum Catachan Defense Force $165<br />
Officio Prefects Commissar $21<br />
Bullgryns $47<br />
Astra Militarum Cadian Defense Force $165<br />
Astra Militarum Hammer of Cádia $330<br />
<br />
So a few interesting bits to walk away with from this one, looks like battle forces are done with, now we get defense forces or other similarly themed box sets(again not a shocker as they have already done this with other armies) Looks like the rumors about a plastic commissar are playing out (god help them if its finecast) Bullgryns are a little pricey, but for the supposed punch they pack it might be well worth it, and you probably are getting 4-5 per box. Hammer of Cádia is more than likely another mega force full of bullgryn, scions and plane Jane guard with tanks and chimeras. Everything looks pretty par for the course and in line with GW's latest release scheme, I am a little intrigued by the new commissar blister, as so far its the only model that hasn't seen much face time, customization options out of the box would be nice, but we shall see.<br />
<br />
Cheers<br />

Either way I am super pumped to finally get to play a ZM game for the first time, and really my first 40k game in the better part of a year (watching YouTube tutorials to brush up as I write this) I got a fair amount of stuff done this week, so bear with me while I itemize everything below.<br />
<br />
<br />
First up is the sentinels, a couple of days ago I posted up a quick shot of the three that I actually managed to get painted. Here are the rest of the horde, all of which are now primed and ready for painting (did I mention a good part of my week was spent hovering over a bucket of simple green swill)<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
<br />
Thursday It got cold again, so my model priming efforts were shut down effectively for the evening, though I did manage to get these two guys done up for Sundays game (I also found out I was a bit short on special weapons squads, so I also put in a sizable bitz order on Ebay (more on that later) I do enjoy coming up with new ways to paint plasma effects but its still a pain to find one that looks right.<br />

Today was a good day for hobby progress since <a href="http://www.amazon.com/SE-Pin-Vise-Set-846PV/dp/B001EPX75U/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1396744701&sr=8-1&keywords=pin+vise" target="_blank"><span style="color: #3d85c6;">the pin vice set I ordered off Amazon</span></a> arrived this afternoon and I was able to drill out some of the gun barrels on my Contra Catachans (now known as Rick & Steve) which I also managed to get done up in decent time.<br />
<br />
I will say for $6 they are not bad, they have none of the polish that a dedicated hobby vise does and they were literally covered in grease when they arrived, but for the money they do a decent job, but they were clearly meant to be shop tools and they are not as precise as a GW/Xacto/Tamiya option, still though, hard to beat that $6 price tag.<br />

That's about it for me this week hobby wise, I expect to get a ton of pics from my ZM game tomorrow so keep an eye for that post in the near future, hopefully I'll start playing more games in general going forward, especially with the new guard codex dropping next week(you probably won't see me for a few days after that) Over all though its been a productive week, and I got to clear a few things off of my <a href="https://trello.com/" target="_blank"><span style="color: #3d85c6;">Trello</span></a>.<br />

Almost forgot to mention, I will be making a guest appearance on the Stuff of Legends podcast Sunday, we are going to be talking about photography, and how you can use in the hobby and other fun topics. They don't have a dedicated landing page for the podcast, but I will post a link once its released.Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10133465852428744084noreply@blogger.com0
